Comic n' Play 2021: Εποχές για Ήρωες

It is customary for milestone dates to take on an anniversary character and provide an occasion for celebration and introspection. Ten years, fifteen years, twenty years of Comic N' Play! The wonderful sense of endurance through time and a unique opportunity to celebrate with friends and reminisce about the old days. But what happens when a cultural event enters its third decade of "life"? Does it become an institution? Does it automatically gain prestige and recognition? Are organisational and financial difficulties resolved and does experience make the organisers wiser? How do you move forward in the coming years?

These and several other questions, important and less important, we are called upon to resolve in the context of the implementation of our 21st edition. Our third year of hosting in Warehouse C offers us the necessary element of familiarity with the space, and familiar friends and partners are here once again to share our vision with us. We do not know if we are living in "times for heroes" - to play a little with the title of this year's exhibition - as the conditions around us do not leave much room for optimistic thoughts, but in any case, heroic efforts are required to set up this event and all of you who visit the space and support this effort, materially and morally, give us the necessary courage to continue.
